Men of Integrity

Men of Integrity (MoI)

One of the hardest things in life is to be a man of integrity. The tabloids are full of scandals and underhanded activities that confront all of us on a regular basis. As a group of men we want to encourage each other to rise above the 'norm' and show our colleagues and friends that it is possible to be Men of Integrity.

It is a well known statistic that our churches are 30% male and 70% female, and the balance is getting worse. In order to make church more relevant to men, we have a variety of activities aimed specifically at men. This is not only to encourage the men who are already in the church, but to make church accessible and attractive to men outside the church, the guys you work with or the mates you meet in the pub or at a football match.

MoI is partnered with CVM. For more info, visit their website.

Our next event is "Captured By A Better Vision - Pursuing purity in a porn-filled world"

It will be at The Burstead Golf Club on Monday 21 November at 7.30pm. £10 inc. buffet meal.

Our speaker, Alasdair Macleod, is very interested in helping people find fullness of life.
Speaking from a Christian perspective he will be talking about the problem of pornography which has reached epidemic proportions in our society. As men, as husbands, as fathers, we are invited to think through
the challenge of capturing a better vision in a porn-filled culture. Alasdair will show positively and practically how this can be possible in daily life. No one will be put on the spot or asked to share. But by taking time out to think about this we will be better placed to help someone struggling with this issue.
